PLEASE! If it's all about money than why would they put Oklahoma in it? Yea, like Oklahoma is the booming mecca of the US and has such a huge consumer base. If it was about money don't you think it would be USC? Little more population to draw from there. Money is a factor always but quit crying. As long as the SEC is as stacked as it is they will always be in the BCS.

A national vote would just rank all of the teams in the most populated areas highest, I don't think that's a very valid way to pick a National Champion. How do you define "most" deserving? You can make a strong case for Utah now that they beat Alabama, but before that win, nobody really knew how good that team was. It's simply a limitation that they have for playing in a crappy conference. USC is a good team, but they have one loss just like Florida and Oklahoma. The Trojans aren't any more deserving than those two teams. I can buy the argument for money with Utah because they are in such a small market, but why would the BCS purposely keep USC out? They are in one of the biggest markets in the US! There's no conspiracy here. An arbitrary math model spit two teams out as the "best" this year. Both teams are deserving enough, so what's the problem?

Same old tired answer. It's really all about money and contracts. The "most" deserving teams is the real question. How about a national vote after the bowl games are over? The arguments are much stronger for USC or Utah than any other teams.

I'm actually pretty tired of hearing this argument. How can you say that Florida and Oklahoma aren't deserving to play for the National Championship? Are there other teams that are deserving as well? A few are close. But to say that Utah and USC are MORE deserving that these two teams just isn't right. If it were a Utah/USC BCS game there would still be people complaining about Florida and Oklahoma not getting in. Even if they switched to some kind of playoff there would be a team like TCU or even Utah that might get left out of the bracket. Then what? You're right back to where you are now, complaining that the system is flawed. Guess what? There is no such thing as a perfect system. Welcome to the world! =)

The BCS should be renamed the BS Championship. What a joke! Neither of the two best teams are in the title game. I'll put up $40,000,000 to have Utah play USC for the real national championship.
