Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to say Rachel is the best and a super horse is going a bit too far! First off the race was 1 3/16ths not 1 1/4 mi. Next she got the perfect trip and Mine That Bird did not. Next which is very very important in she carried 121lbs. compared to 126lbs. by the colts. So this was a handicap race in all fairness now wasn't it. They say every 2lbs. over a mile is worth 1 length so you do the math. Finally I can honestly say that this is in no way a great crop of 3 year old colts by any stretch of the imagination. So this is my challenge to Rachels entourage. Run her in the Belmont 1 1/2 mi. at equal weights, 126lbs. If you can beat the colts then you are the 3 year old champion otherwise Rachel is just a very good filly that had everything go her way Saturdays handicap race at Pimlico.
