Arkansas at South Carolina Football Picks & Predictions

The vastly improved Arkansas Razorbacks head into Columbia to take on the Gamecocks. Arkansas has looked like a much different team in the past four weeks and is coming off a huge win against unbeaten Tulsa. South Carolina is a solid football team, but has failed to cover this line two of their three SEC wins. The only time they did was last week against a bad Tennessee team. The college football odds for this game show South Carolina as a 13-point favorite with the total set at 45.

Casey Dick has been throwing the football well as of late. He has tossed four touchdown passes in the past three games and has done a much better job and making smart plays. Last season against South Carolina he completed 80% of his passes and threw for two touchdowns, while not throwing any interceptions. Look for Dick to have a solid day in this one.

Michael Smith has been outstanding at running the football in SEC play. Smith is averaging 144 yards rushing in five SEC games and has scored five total touchdowns. Smith will see plenty of action in this football game. Giving South Carolina a steady dose of the running game will help keep this game close.
