The 5-3 Atlanta Falcons visit the 3-5 Carolina Panthers in this NFC South match-up Sunday. The Falcons are off a 31-17 home win over Washington, while the Panthers are off a 20-30 road loss at New Orleans. This is the second meeting between these teams this season, with the Falcons winning the first meeting 28-20 at home. Atlanta is 1-3 on the road this season, where Matt Ryan has thrown 5 interceptions in his last two road games. The Carolina Panthers have even worse QB problems, though Jake Delhomme has cut back on his mistakes the last few weeks. Still, Delhomme has 5 touchdowns to 13 interceptions this season. Over the last 4 weeks, Williams leads all rushers with 548 yards. In their first meeting, Williams was held to 79 yards in 16 carries, but expect DeAngelo to get more touches this week. Atlanta ranks 24th in the league against the run. In his last 7 meetings with Atlanta, Delhomme has 10 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions, and he threw for 301 yards and one touchdown to three interceptions in their earlier September meeting. Matt Ryan threw for 3 touchdowns in the win.
