Editors Note: Jason Lowry has his NFL GAME OF THE WEEK going in this one, so get this play and win big this weekend.
This week the NFC North leading Chicago Bears get their shot at giving the Tennessee Titans their first loss of the season when the two teams hook up at Soldier field in Chicago. The Bears have won 4 of 5 including a tough win at home last week against the winless Lions 27-23. The Titans also had their hands full last week, as Green Bay went into Tennessee and nearly pulled off the upset, as the Titans needed overtime to take home the victory. The oddsmakers are sticking with the Titans to remain undefeated, as Tennessee comes in 3 point favorites on the road over the Bears at Sportsbook.com
The Titans remain a force running the football this season, and last week was no different as Chris Johnson and LenDale White combined for 166 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Kerry Collins surprisingly threw the football 37 times but the numbers remained pretty much the same as he racked up just 180 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Johnson was the star of this game as he added an additional 72 yards receiving on top of the 89 yards he had on the ground, as he continues to look like the front runner for rookie of the year this season. Its hard picking when this Titans team will lose, as they just seem to do whatever is needed to come out on top. This week they face a tough Bears defense, who just might have the talent to force Collins to win this game with his arm.

The Titans defense is playing at a pretty high level so far this season, as they just control the game up front, and even though Ryan Grant racked up 86 yards on the ground and Aaron Rodgers threw for 314, this defense responds to big situations and makes the plays when needed. This week they face a Bears offense thats has been clicking of late, but they might get an early Christmas gift with Rex Grossman likely starting at quarterback. Bet Titans -3 at Sportsbook.com
The Bears have to be a little scared with Grossman under center this week, and even though he came in and led the Bears from behind for a victory he really wasn’t that impressive. Grossman actually only completed 9 of 19 passes and had one touchdown and one interception. The Bears need Grossman to have a big game this week, as its unlikely rookie Matt Forte will be able to repeat his 22 carries for 126 yards against the Titans this week. If Grossman starts turning it over like he is known to do, this one is going to be over early.
Now a lot rides on how Grossman plays, but his job becomes much easier if this Bears defense comes to play this week, and keeps the Titans from getting their running game going. If the Bears keep it close, the less Grossman will have to air it out. We really liked the Bears coming into this game with Orton taking the snaps, so we are still confident that Bears can bring home a victory this season. The Bears will once again be without safety Mike Brown, as he went down with another leg injury, but on the bright side they do expect to see him back on the field before seasons end.
