Best Las Vegas Bars

If you are making a trip to Sin City then you need to know this list of some of the coolest and best Las Vegas bars. With so much happening, Vegas can be a little overwhelming, so here are a few of the more fabulous (and infamous) bars to check out.

Rum Jungle – The Mandalay Bay

If you’re in Vegas then you’ll probably be interested in taking in some of its more carnivalesque bar atmosphere. Rum Jungle is a zoo with a dress code; go-go dancers in cages, waterfalls, trapeze artists flipping around above the bar, a wall of fire at the entrance and a rum volcano. Maybe you missed that… we said a rum volcano.

The food is fantastic too so dodge the $25 cover by eating there first.

Double Down – Off Strip

If you’re looking for a spot off The Vegas Strip where the locals like to party, Double Down is it. Touted by some as the best bar in the Western United States and by others as the worst, your mother warned you about places like this.

This self-proclaimed anti-Vegas bar is perfect for those who’ve had enough of The Strip’s Hollywood-style glitz. As the home of the Bacon Martini and the infamous Ass Juice, you should know what you’re getting into when you go here.

Ghost Bar – The Palms

This cherry on top of the 450-foot Palms Casino grants its patrons a 360-degree view of the Las Vegas strip. Trendy and beautiful, the Ghost Bar typifies the Vegas bar scene.

Popularity has its price, though, with a modest cover charge ($10-$20 depending on the day) and brutal lineups. So unless you’re a group of gorgeous women with short skirts or a gaggle of plastic surgeons with black Amexes, you might want to get there early.

Tryst - Wynn

Steve Wynn did not spare any expense on his nightclub Tryst when he built his $2.7-billion hotel. Tryst is quickly making a name for itself as one of the hottest clubs in Vegas by keeping up with the latest trends and setting some of its own.

Inside you’ll find rows of 200-year-old trees and a waterfall flowing off of a 100-foot manmade mountain into a lake. Talk about moving the mountain to Muhammad!

The stylish décor includes marble tables, velvet walls and alligator-skin booths.

Chicago Brewing Company – Off Strip

If you’re one of those rare people whose primary concern when choosing a bar is the quality of its beer, then this is the place for you. This huge space has a dining room, a cocktail lounge and a cigar bar, complete with a décor that’s a throwback to 1930’s Chicago. Enjoy the thrill of drinking during prohibition without the actual risk of the Untouchables breaking up your party.

Did we mention the fantastic micro-brewed beer? The Chicago Brewing Company is a perfect place to start your evening or to lounge away the night if you’ve had enough of the lights and sounds of the Vegas club scene.

This is just a short list of some of the top bars centering on different genres. If you are making the trip to Las Vegas, you will want to hit the nightclub in your hotel. Call down to the front desk and have them put you on the VIP list. You won’t have to wait in line and won’t have to pay cover!
