Broncos Bills Football

Things could really get interesting this week in the AFC West, as the Denver Broncos either need to beat the Bills at home, or the Chargers need to lose on the road against Tampa, or its going to be do or die in the final week of the season when the two teams face off in San Diego. Now we are here today to talk about the Broncos upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills, who have lost 3 straight and nearly hit rock bottom after starting the season 5-1. Last week the Bills came close against the Jets, but found a way to lose 31-27, while the Broncos got beat up on the road by the Panthers 30-10. Now the Bills offense finally scored a touchdown for the first time in 3 weeks, but thanks to a late fumble by JP Losman the Jets went home with the win. Losman had a pretty rough go around in this one, as he wound up throwing for just 148 yards and a score with 3 interceptions. Now had Losman been able to keep hold of the football a little better, the Bills likely would of won this game. Marshawn Lynch was a beast running the football, as he carried it 21 times for 127 yards, but was unable to find the endzone. The Bills did get rushing touchdowns from both Fred Jackson and Losman, as this team had the Jets on their heels after falling behind 14-3 in the first quarter. Now with the Broncos weak on the defensive side of things, and the Bills expect Trent Edwards back under center, which could be a huge help for this team after all the turnovers Losman had last week, but most importantly we think Lynch is going to go off for a big game in this one.

Now for the Bills to pull off the upset they not only need the offense to keep it going, but the defense will have to find away to slow down the Broncos passing attack, and an offense that really seems to click when it plays at home. Last week the Bills were able to grab to interceptions off Brett Favre, as they were solid against the pass the whole game, but it was the run defense that killed them in this one. The Broncos will take what it can get, so this defense better be ready to go come Sunday. ">Bet Buffalo Bills +7 at Sportsbook.com

The Broncos offense came rolling, as it scored 10 first quarter points against the Panthers, but the problem came when the Broncos failed to score the rest of the game. Now no one was able to beat the Panthers on their home field this season, so its not much of a surprise to see them walk away empty handed, but not scoring in the final 3 quarters is something that you can’t be happy about. Jay Cutler threw for just 172 in this one, while PJ Pope led the way rushing with just 51 yards, but the Broncos did get another 43 on the ground from Tatum Bell. Now we expect this offense to get back on track at home this weekend, and besides Cutler and the passing game, its hard telling just who is going to have a big game out of the backfield, as the Broncos will likely use a number of backs in this one.

The Broncos defense really needs to try and find some way to slow the opposing team down, or this team is going to be one and done in the playoffs. Last week they let the Panthers to do pretty much whatever they wanted, as Jake Delhomme threw for 253 yards and a score, while the running duo of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart combined for 140 yards and 2 scores. Now the Bills are going to try and pound the football this weekend, so they better be ready to go or this one could turn into a shootout. ">Bet Denver Broncos -7 at Sportsbook.com
