Cal at Arizona College Football Betting Odds

Cal enters this game on a two game winning streak and will look to knock of the Arizona Wildcats on their home field. Arizona has no standout wins, but they do have two losses against average teams in New Mexico and Stanford. Jay Todd says to look for Cal to continue putting up points and winning games in the Pac-10. The college football lines makers currently have Cal listed as a 2-point favorite with the total set at 54.

Nate Longshore will be under center for the Golden Bears. Longshore has thrown five touchdowns and just one interception since winning his job back as Cal’s quarterback. Longshore has plenty of weapons to help make big plays. Cal has five players with double-digit reception numbers and has eight players that have caught touchdown passes. Look for Longshore to have a solid day.

Cal brings a solid running game into this game. They have two players, Jahvid Best and Shane Vereen, who have had at least 60 rush attempts. The two have combined for 793 yards and 6 touchdowns. Each of these backs has big play abilities have their each have at least one touchdown of over 80 yards. Arizona is giving up over 140 yards per game on the ground and the Wildcats are coming off a game in which they gave up 286 rushing yards and two scores against an average Stanford team. Look for Cal’s running game to put up huge numbers in this game.

Cal is only giving up around 14 points per game in their four wins this season. Although Arizona does have some impressive offense of numbers, most of that came against very bad teams. Cal is holding their opponents to under 200 yards passing and 100 yards rushing per game. Look for them to keep this Wildcat offense in check.
