Central Michigan at Indiana Football Picks & Predictions

Central Michigan goes on the road to face the Hoosiers this Saturday. Central Michigan is 6-2 on the season and unbeaten in MAC play. Their only two loses came against highly ranked Georgia and a solid Purdue team. Indiana is coming off a nice week against Northwestern to finally get on the board in Big Ten play. The odds at Sportsbook.com show Indiana as a 2-point favorite with the total set at 56.5.

Central Michigan is a very sound football team. They have won four straight games and average nearly 30 points per game. Dan LeFevour leads the way for the Chippewas. LeFevour looks like he could be the next great MAC quarterback. He is a mobile quarterback who can make throws on the run as well as pick up some solid yards with his legs. LeFevour is completing nearly 70% of his passes and has passed for 11 touchdowns. He also leads the team in rushing with 329 yards and three scores. Bryan Anderson is LeFevour’s go to guy. Anderson is averaging over 14 yards a catch and has score four times. Look for LeFevour to do it all against Indiana.

Indiana is coming off a huge win against a ranked Northwestern team. Indiana is allowing just 11.6 points per game in their three wins on the season. Indiana quarterback Kellen Lewis is a dual threat guy who can beat teams with his arm and his legs. He has 8 total touchdowns and averages over seven yards per carry, which is excellent for a running quarterback. Marcus Thigpen, the Hoosiers’ running back, has six total touchdowns on the season and averages 5.7 yards per carry and 22.8 yards per reception. Both Lewis and Thigpen can beat you in many different ways and have big play abilities, as both have recorded rushing touchdowns over 75 yards this season.
