Chicago Bears at Baltimore Ravens NFL Odds

The Baltimore Ravens host the Chicago Bears today in what is a huge game in the AFC playoff race. Though Chicago is basically eliminated from the NFC playoffs, the Ravens have a chance to inch closer to earning a spot in the postseason in the AFC with a win. The Ravens are coming off a 48-3 win over the Lions, while the Bears are off a 21-14 loss to the Packers. NFL odds for this game have the Ravens as 11-point favorites with a Total Set of 38.5 points.

Ray Rice is coming off one of his best games as a pro, rushing for 166 yards on just 13 carries in last week’s 48-3 win over Detroit. Baltimore set team records with 5 rushing touchdowns and 548 yards of total offense last week. The Ravens’ schedule sets up nicely the last 3 weeks, with this game against the Bears followed by road meetings with the struggling Steelers and the Raiders. They cannot afford a letdown here Sunday.

The Bears couldn’t be in worse shape this season. Chicago is 5-8, and they have lost 5 of their last 6 games overall to play themselves out of the playoffs. Baltimore is 12-1 at home against NFC opponents since 2003, so Chicago has their work cut out for them.
