Chris Ferguson

Chris “Jesus” Ferguson has become one of the most popular and well-liked players in poker. He can’t remember a time in his life when he wasn’t involved in poker and way back in the 4th grade he remembers a time when he went broke, losing his last 35 cents.

Chris played in regularly home games in his home town and would head to Vegas often to return with a tidy profit. In college, he discovered the world of online poker. We aren’t talking about a quality site like Full Tilt, but over an IRC channel in which he quickly became the highest ranked tournament player. With this success he started playing in tournament around the Los Angeles area, but it wasn’t until 1994 when he made his first appearance at the World Series that things got serious. Over the next five years at the WSOP he made seven final tables, twelve money finishes, and had a highest finish of 4th place.

Ferguson broke through with a Main Event bracelet in 2000, following his 7-Card Stud win in the same year. Since he started playing in the World Series, he has more bracelets (5), made more final tables (25), and had more money finishes (42) than any other player in the world.

Chris has returned to the world of online poker, but he has used his thoughts and ideas to improve the game. He put together his own team of players and programmers to design the software used at Full Tilt. These has led many industry insider’s to proclaim that this site has the best games and software anywhere.
