Football Picks: Clemson at Georgia Tech

Written September 10, 2009 by Jack Jones

College football’s week 2 gets started on Thursday night with the ACC battle between Clemson and Georgia Tech.  If you are going to do any football betting on this game then you might want to take a look at the $500 in FREE bonus money offered by BetUS and you might also want to see who our handicappers are taking with their college football picks on the game.  With the current college football odds that are posted, Georgia Tech is a 5 point favorite with the total set at 44.

Freddy Wills is 25-9 on his last 34 with top plays and he has a 3-Dime college football play on tonight’s game.  Wunderdog has gone 77-49 with his top plays over the past 4.5 months on our site and tonight you can cash in on another one of his easy winners.

Jeff Alexander’s Prime Time Punisher is a game that you are not going to want to miss out on as he continues his 67-38 (63%) scorching run. You can catch in on InfoPlays 8* ACC on ESPN Game of the Week as he continues his 7-3 football run.

Nick Parsons has a 9* Blowout PUnisher going on this game while John Ryan is on an 18-4 ATS run and has a 10* CFB Titan on the Clemson Georgia Tech odds.

Ben Burns is 10-3 on his last 13 with NCAA football plays and his 9* Thursday Roast will put the fire to your book.  Steve Janus was last year’s CFB handicapping champion and he’s looking to get his week 2 started right with a 3* side on this game.

Jimmy Boyd sees more value with his Titans/Steelers picks tonight, but he does have a free play going on Georgia Tech at -5: The Yellow Jackets are 2-0 SU and ATS versus Clemson over the last 2 seasons and I expect this trend to continue today. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a breezer in Week 1 against Jacksonville State, but head coach Paul Johnson was not pleased with the ball handling or the effort and let his team know about it. I expect a much better performance from Tech this week against a team it knows it can’t take lightly. The key here is that I don’t see Clemson being able to slow down Tech’s explosive running attack. Georgia Tech is 16-5 ATS in the first two weeks of the season since 1992 and Clemson is just 2-8 ATS in its last 10 games vs. a team with a winning record. I’m laying the points.
