College Football Picks & Predictions – Week 12

Let’s take a look at the biggest match ups in college football this weekend and run down our predictions for each game. This could be a monster week with some lop-sided victories and upsets. There’s no big BCS game, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find the best college football picks for the week and cash in! MINNESOTA @ WISCONSIN
First up we have Wisconsin -13.5 against Minnesota. This season has been a big disappointment for the Badgers, while Minnesota has made some great strides. The Badgers are at home, but the Gophers should keep it within two TDs.

Take: Minnesota +13.5
Predicted Score: Wisconsin 24, Minnesota 17

VIRGINIA TECH @ MIAMI
The Miami Hurricanes are giving 4.5 points at home against Virginia Tech. I don’t feel like Miami has put everything together just yet. Frank Beamer’s squad should pick up the road victory.

Take: Virginia Tech +4.5
Predicted Score: Virginia Tech 28, Miami 13

TEXAS @ KANSAS
Texas is favored by 13 points at Kansas. This is a Kansas offense that is very good, but their defense simply isn’t up to the task. It looks like a Texas blowout to me.

Take: Texas -13
Predicted Score: Texas 48, Kansas 24

OHIO STATE @ ILLINOIS
Illinois is a 9.5 point underdog at home against the Ohio State Buckeyes this week. Ohio State’s performance last week on the road against Northwestern says a lot about this team. The Buckeyes score another convincing victory Saturday.

Take: Ohio State -9.5
Predicted Score: Ohio State 35, Illinois 10

NOTRE DAME @ NAVY
Navy hosts Notre Dame as 3.5 point underdogs. These are two teams that are very close in talent, but the Irish are playing with a sense of urgency. They should use that energy in a positive way this week, but the score stays close. If you think the Fighting Irish can pull of the road victory at Navy, bet on Notre Dame -3.5 this week!

Predicted Score: Notre Dame 28, Navy 23

VANDERBILT @ KENTUCKY
Kentucky is a 4 point favorite at home against Vanderbilt in a game that could really go either way. Both teams have knocked off some decent opponents this year, but Kentucky has been much more consistent. I’ll take the Wildcats at home.

Predicted Score: Kentucky 24, Vanderbilt 17

DUKE @ CLEMSON
Duke gets 10.5 points at Clemson this week. Clemson showed some signs of life against Florida State last week, but they simply aren’t as good as they get credit for each week.

Take: Duke +10.5
Predicted Score: Clemson 28, Duke 24

MISSISSIPPI STATE @ ALABAMA
The #1 Alabama Crimson Tide are giving 20.5 points this week at home against Mississippi State. This should be an easy win for Bama, but Mississippi State keeps it at a slow enough pace to stay within the spread.

Take: Mississippi State +20.5
Predicted Score: Alabama 24, Mississippi State 10

USC @ STANFORD
Stanford hosts the USC Trojans as 23 point underdogs. No upset this time around. The Trojans roll to another easy Pac-10 win on the road. Bet on the USC Trojans -23 this Saturday.

Take: USC -23
Predicted Score: USC 49, Stanford 9
