#1 Florida defeats Georgia 41-17 - Tim Tebow rushed for two touchdowns, surpassing Herschel Walker as the SEC’s all-time leader in rushing touchdowns. Walker played for Georgia in his days, so it was fitting. It was an 18th consecutive victory for the Gators.

#3 Texas defeats Oklahoma State 41-14 - The Longhorns defense was the story, returning two interceptions for touchdowns and forcing 5 turnovers by the Cowboys’ offense. Colt McCoy notched his 100th career touchdown pass in the win.

#4 Iowa defeats Indiana 42-24 - Somehow, Iowa QB Ricky Stanzi threw four interceptions in the third quarter alone and the Hawkeyes still found a way to win. Stanzi rebound to throw two TD’s in the fourth, and RB Brandon Wegher rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns for Iowa as they improved to 9-0.

#10 Oregon defeats #5 USC 47-20 - It was all Ducks in a rare blowout loss for the Trojans. Oregon QB Jeremiah Massoli threw for 222 yards and rushed for 164 more with two touchdowns as the Trojans couldn’t contain him. The Ducks put up 613 total yards, the most allowed by USC under Pete Carroll.

#6 TCU defeats UNLV 41-0 - The Horned Frogs just keep steamrolling opponents, shutting out the Rebels to improve to 54-6 at home since 1999. This TCU offense put up 578 yards of total offense in the win.

#7 Boise State defeats San Jose State 45-7 - The Broncos put up 35 unanswered points to finish strong. Boise held SJSU to just 221 yards of total offense, also forcing 2 turnovers which were promptly turned into scores by the Broncos’ offense.

#8 Cincinnati defeats Syracuse 28-7 - Backup QB Zach Collaros threw four touchdown passes in the win, filling in for Tony Pike. He now has 9 TD’s to just 1 INT in his last two starts. Syracuse fought tough, but 2 turnovers inside the Bearcats’ red zone put a halt to their upset bid.

#9 LSU defeats Tulane 42-0 - Brandon LaFell hauled in two touchdown receptions, giving him 22 for his career. It was the Tigers’ first shutout of Tulane since 1969.

#11 Georgia Tech defeats Vanderbilt 56-31 - Jonathan Dwyer scored two touchdowns within 40 seconds of each other, and the Yellow Jackets’ star running back finished with 186 yards and three touchdowns in this shootout. The Commodores actually led 31-28 in the third quarter before 28 unanswered points by Georgia Tech to finish the game.

#12 Penn State defeats Northwestern 34-13 - In a game that was tied 13-13 in the fourth quarter, the Nittany Lions reeled off three touchdown in four minutes to pull away.

North Carolina defeats #13 Virginia Tech 20-17 - After a Ryan Williams fumble, the Tar Heels capped off the comeback on a 21-yard field goal from Casey Barth as time expired. UNC’s defense was the difference, limiting the Hokies to 11 first downs and just 95 rushing yards.

#16 Utah defeats Wyoming 22-10 - Eddie Wide rushed for 135 yards in the game, which was his fifth 100-yard rushing performance of the season. Freshman QB Jordan Wynn led the Utes to a comeback win in the second half after replacing starter Terrance Cain.

#17 Ohio State defeats New Mexico State 45-0 - The Aggies earned a big check in the loss, and failed to show up. The Buckeyes held NMSU to just 62 yards of total offense.

#18 Houston defeats Southern Miss 50-43 - Heisman candidate Case Keenum threw for a career-high 559 passing yards and 5 touchdowns, including a 43-yard bomb to give the Cougars the lead with only 21 seconds remaining. These teams combined for 1,358 total yards.

#19 Miami defeats Wake Forest 28-27 - Jacory Harris was brilliant once again, throwing for 330 yards and three touchdowns including the winning score with just over one minute remaining. Wake had a chance to win on a 60-yard field goal that fell short as time expired after blowing a 17-0 lead to start the game.

South Florida defeats #21 West Virginia 30-19 - BJ Daniels didn’t play like a freshman. The Bulls’ starting QB threw for 232 yards and rushed for 104 more along with three touchdowns. Give USF credit for holding Big East leading rusher, Noel Devine, to just 39 yards on 10 carries.

Tennessee defeats #22 South Carolina 31-13 - The Vols sported black uniforms for this one, and it paid off. Until the Gamecocks got into the end zone in the third quarter, Tennessee had gone 10 straight quarters without allowing an offensive touchdown.
