College Football Week 11 Power Rankings

Written November 10, 2009 by Kyle Hunter

Now that November is here it is time for the pretenders to go home and the best of the best to step up! The college football betting lines are already up for next weekend, so it’s time to start your preparation!

Get an extra $500 to bet on football the rest of this season when you sign up for a new accountat BetUS and make an initial deposit of $500 or more.

1. Florida- No one except the Gators really deserves to have this spot until proven otherwise. Florida may not be winning quite as pretty as they did last year, but they are winning every game and that is all that counts. No one wants to play this team. Don’t expect to see any football picks anytime soon suggesting Florida will lose outright.

2. Texas- The Longhorns seem to have hit their stride over the last few weeks and look like a real title contender now. Colt McCoy and the offense are moving the ball very well and the defense is great against the run.

3. Alabama- The Crimson Tide showed some nice heart in their tough win over LSU last weekend. Julio Jones looks like he is ready to breakout in a big way and the defense is consistently very good.

4. Cincinnati- The Bearcats defense wasn’t that impressive last weekend and it almost cost them. Zach Collaros is doing an excellent job, and Brian Kelly is proving himself as a top notch coach.

5. TCU- The defense of TCU is amazing and they deservedly get a whole lot of credit, but the offense isn’t shabby at all either. This team is great at controlling the ball and wearing down a defense.

6. Georgia Tech- The running game at Georgia Tech is second to none right now. If they only had a little more of a passing game they might be a real title contender, but Paul Johnson and crew are very good.

7. Boise State- The Broncos continue to score points in bundles, but the defense hasn’t been nearly as good as they were earlier this season. The strength of schedule will be a real problem for any kind of BCS title hopes.

8. LSU- LSU has lost to two excellent football teams this year, and has looked pretty good in both of those games. This isn’t a team that anyone would want to have to defeat right now.

9. Pittsburgh- The Panthers continue to surprise all of the college football world. Quarterback Bill Stull has been nothing short of terrific and Dion Lewis has been an amazing surprise at running back.

10. USC- This isn’t nearly as good of a team as USC has been fielding the last few years, but they are still a pretty formidable opponent. The defense needs to step it back up.

11. Ohio State- The Buckeyes went into Happy Valley and defied most NCAA college football picksby upseting the Nittany Lions. The defense is one of the best in the country and if the offense can continue to improve they will be tough later this year and next season.

12. Oregon- The Ducks were beaten up by Stanford this past weekend because their defense didn’t show up. The offense is still clicking and they still have the inside track to the Rose Bowl.

13. Miami- The Hurricanes aren’t quite one of the very best in the country again, but they have come back a long ways in the last couple of years.

14. Iowa- The Hawkeyes run ended last weekend and the rest of their season looks bleak now that Stanzi has gone down with an injury. This weekend provides them with a chance to bounce back in a big way.

15. Houston- The Cougars had a spectacular come from behind victory at Tulsa last weekend. Case Keenum is a very talented quarterback and this team has proven they are definitely good.

16. Arizona

17. Wisconsin

18. Oklahoma State

19. Penn State

20. Utah

21. Virginia Tech

22. Clemson

23. Stanford

24. Brigham Young

25. Oregon State
