Delaware Sports Betting Limits
Written August 17, 2009 by Jack Jones
Barring a setback in the appeals of the major sports leagues fighting the legalization of sports betting in Delaware, all things seem to be a go for September 1st, when Delaware opens their windows to bettors. Players will be able to wager on baseball, college football and the NFL, just like they currently can in Las Vegas. Nobody knows exactly how popular this is going to be, with illegal bookies everywhere who offer bets with credit (no money upfront). The goal is to have the kinks worked out in the 10 days preceding the NFL season, which begins on September 10th. If you still want to do your football betting with an online book, Sportsbook.com is offering a 50% signup bonus and a FREE $25 bet to start the season!
Players will be offered a full range of bets, from single game wagers to prop bets, futures, halfime wagers and almost everything else. The vig will be the same as it is almost everywhere else, with a bettor having to risk $11 to win $10. The betting limits will be modeled after the books in the desert with $10,000 for the NFL and $5,000 for college being the initial limits set for sides and $2,000 for NFL totals and $1,000 for college over/unders.
Wherever you find the college football odds and NFL spreads you want to bet this year, make sure you sign up for the football picks offered by our handicappers so you are left with the best chance of beating those numbers!
