Moving to Las Vegas in 1991, Macklin became a true Vegas "insider" operating in the background for various superior services before going on his own in 2002. Macklin has numerous radio and television references on his resume, including a frequent 20-minute football segment "Beat the Spread", on the One on One radio network. Also, he is a weekly panelist on USA Networks "Sports Desk" in 2001 and 2002. Documented by The Sports Monitor and National Sports Monitor since 2003, Macklin has firmly recognized himself as one of the sports information business's rising geniuses. In just 5 short years, Macklin has compiled over 50 Top-10 finishes including several number ones. Macklin ended up second in pro basketball and seventh in college basketball in 2004 to become the No. 1 aggregated basketball handicapper at the National Sports Monitor. He also delivered the goods with the 2005 NSM NHL championship outright and holds three UHC titles.
