Editors Note: Jason Lowry has a TOP PLAY going in the Bills Dolphins game this weekend, so grab this play before its too late!
One of the more interesting matchups of the NFL in week 8 action is the Miami Dolphins (2-4)hosting the Buffalo Bills (5-1). After winning two straight the Dolphins have lost back to back games, and their most recent loss came against the Ravens at home 13-27. On the other hand the Bills bounced back from their first loss of the season, with a very impressive win over the San Diego Chargers at home 23-14. It might come as a surprise to some, but the oddsmakes have the Bills just 1.5 point favorites over the Dolphins at Bookmaker.com
The Bills were happy to see Trent Edwards back under center, as he showed no effects of the big hit he took in the Bills previous game against the Cardinals i their only loss of the season. Edwards threw for 261 yards including a touchdown strike to Lee Evans who had 8 catches for 89 yards. The most impressive thing about Edwards performance was he rarely missed, as he completed 25 of 30 passes. The Bills also got a solid performance out of Marshawn Lynch who ran it 19 times for 70 yards and score. Look for the Bills to try an establish that run game against the Dolphins early and often, but don’t be surprised to see Edwards air it out as well.

The Bills defense didn’t look anything like the team that got ripped apart by the Cardinals, as they held the Chargers to just 2 scores, and didn’t let LT or Philip Rivers get much of anything going. Now its no surprise that the Bills defense played this well, its just many people didn’t expect them to shut down the Chargers multiple weapons so effectively. Its no secret for the Bills this week, that the key to stopping the Dolphins is stopping Ronnie Brown. Bet Bills -1.5 at Bookmaker.com
It really showed just how much the Dolphins offense goes with Brown, as the Ravens held Brown to just 27 yards and it wound up leading to only 13 points for the Dolphins. Now it won’t be any easier this week against a Bills defense that is giving up just 93 yards on the ground, and while quarterback Chad Pennington is coming off a 295 yard performance, we don’t think he is ready to take over the game just yet without Brown doing some damage. Look for the Dolphins to possibly look for even more ways to get Brown going this week. Also the Dolphins have to like what receiver Greg Camarillo continues to do on the outside, as he led the team last week with 6 catches for 74 yards, but still has just 1 touchdown on the season.
The Dolphins defense had been solid all season long, playing about as good as anyone in the league, but that wasn’t the case last week, as rookie Joe Flacco threw for 232 yards and veteran Willis McGahee ran it 19 times for 105 yards and a score. If the Dolphins let Lynch have that same kind of success on the ground, its going to be really tuff for the Dolphins to come home on top this weekend. Bet Dolphins +1.5 at Bookmaker.com
