Evelyn Ng may be a pretty face, but don’t let that fool you as she is also an intelligent and crafty poker player. She have proven herself on the professional poker circuit as one of the best in the game.

Evelyn is from Toronto and started out dealing in private clubs before becoming the big name player that she is today. After devoting herself to playing poker full-time she made the move to Las Vegas so she could be closer to her victims.

Before becoming a professional poker player, Ng got her start at 14 by taking everyone’s money at the pool tables, but had moved on to poker by the age of 17. Then she met her friend and coach Daniel Negreanu who helped her progress her game to the next level.

Ng made an immediate impact on the poker scene when she earned a second place finish at the 2003 World Poker Tour Ladies Night event. She has since gone on to become very successul with an 11th-place finish at the 2005 WPT Borgata Poker Open, an event in which she earned a cool $65,000. At the 2006 WPT Championship she ended up 39th overall and took home at nice payday of $73,230.

Ng’s looks tend to make players think she is weaker than she is. She is 5′10″ with a charm and beauty that allows her opponents to put their guard down. To go along with that she is becoming more of a celebrity. She was in Negreanu’s Stacked video game and was a key member of Calvin Ayre’s Wild Card Poker series filmed down in Costa Rica at the Bodog Compound.

Evy, or Evybaby as she is also called, fits in with the Bodog lifestyle and embraces their motto of Work Hard, Play Hard.
