Five Level Betting

The Five Level Betting System is based on making progressive bets based on a cycle. You start at 1 then 2, then 3 before finishing at 5 before heading back down to 1. A $10 player would start there before going $20, $30, $50 and then back to $10. After the initial $10 wager, you progress to the next level after each hand that you win. As soon as you lose then you move back down to your $10 wager. Additionally, if you win four hands in a row then you also return back to your $10 wager.
This system recognizes runs of luck, rewarding the player when a winning run is achieved, but it doesn’t kill you when you hit a losing streak. If you bet a standard rate and lose four straight hands before winning four straight you would be sitting at zero, but using this system you would be up $70.
Our personal favorite progressive betting system though is somewhat different in that you don’t automatically return to a single unit after your fourth win. This sytem has you set a predetermined percentage increase to follow any winning bet, and pull in your horns after losses. For example; I increase the bet that follows any winning bet by roughly 50%: When the first $2 bet wins, my next bet is $3. If that wins I’m off on the plus-50% gallop: $5, $7, $10, $15, $22 etc, until I lose, and then I drop back to the table minimum, in this case, $2.
What I like best about any winning progressive method of betting, Paul, is that you can minimize your losses and usually protect your winnings.
