Default Steve Janus Bases - Sunday 5/3

    2009 Overall MLB Record: 12-11 (+317)

    Just one for Sunday:

5* Blue Chip Bet on Boston Red Sox +141

Tampa Bay looks like the easy win here, but I know that you can't get the Red Sox at this price very often, so I'm going to take full advantage. Boston has had no problem figuring out Rays' starter, James Shields. "Big Game" James has 11 career starts against the BoSox and only 2 wins to show for it. His overall record against Boston is 2-7 with a 5.13 ERA. Now I realize that Brad Penny is off to an awful start for the Red Sox this year, but he has gotten great run support, and I think it's only a matter of time before he gets it figured out. Boston finally got a win at Tampa under their belt last night and I think they liked the feeling so much that they'll come out and do it again on Sunday.

    Good Luck out there!

    Gimme the loot.
