Totally confused what this system would have to do with the day of the week, but thrilled about the results at 47-8, 85.5 percent. Go against Texas.

The Mariners will start Bedard today who is 4-2 with a 3.35 ERA in nine starts against Texas. He wasn't very good in his last start but that was against the White Sox who sport one of the better statrting lineups in the AL. Before that loss, he was 2-1 with a 1.29 ERA in his previous three starts. Padilla, meanwhile, is 0-2 with an 8.14 ERA in four starts since his successful season debut.

Bedard was great, but Seattle's offense took a dive yesterday.
