Yeah, I got nervous on these too, but the system makes statistical sense.
1) Team #1 sweeps Team #2
2) In the next series, you bet on Team #2 in game A, but only if the rpi of Team #2 is 0.15 less than Team #1, maximum (of course it can be greater). Also, if Team #1 is in the top 3 of the RPI rankings, then you would not play the series (for example, when the red sox swept the yankees in their first series, you would not have played the red sox in that second series, as they were top 3 in the RPI ratings)
3) You then martingale bet the 3-game series as described in a previous post. If you lose all 3 games, then you declare the series a loss (hasn't happened yet).
4) Also, if the team you are betting on is at home and loses Game [A] by 3 or more runs, you make a stronger bet for Game [B].
the new update to the system:
1) Team #1 sweeps Team #2
2) In their next series matchup, ff Team #1's RPI is > 0.25 above Team #2, AND Team #2 wins game 1 in the next series, you bet on Team #1 for game 2 of the series (making it an A bet).
3) This is only a 2-game chase.
