Saturday Play of the Day
Wisconsin +15.5 -110 @ Ohio State Buckeyes
Just a disclaimer, but Wisconsin is my #1 favorite team, with Ohio State being a close #2. I did some research with the BCS Computer rankings (5 are currently available, with the 6th not being available until the first BCS rankings are released), and Wisconsin/Ohio State are ranked the same in the computer rankings, dropping the highest and the lowest score (just like they do with the BCS).
John Clay is the #1 rusher in the Big Ten per rushing yards, and #4 in the country. Wisconsin always has a great offensive line, so this is not suprising. They pump out solid RBs every year, and with Ohio State losing their star DT - Dex Larimore.
But what I really love is Scott Tolzien. He is the first Wisconsin QB that doesn't cause me to curse at least 20x per game. This is a much different offense, as his passing threat opens up the run game, instead of vice/versa, where the past Wisconsin QBs have always struggled. Tolzien ranks #1 in the Big Ten in passer rating and #15 in the country.
And finally, the fact that Wisconsin isn't ranked is a huge factor. They have choked in the past couple years when ranked high (except in 2006), due to confidence in their skills/abilities. This team has no rank, so they have everything to prove. They also play both Iowa and Michigan at home, so their season's success / most important game is this game, since they also don't play Penn State this year.
Take the points, as Wisconsin will keep this game close, possibly even winning.
