    Default UFC 111: St-Pierre vs Hardy - Mar-27-2010 OVER\UNDER Plays

Frank Mir (13-4) vs. Shane Carwin (11-0)
    8.70* Mir\Carwin UNDER 1.5 (-145)
    To win 6*

    Frank Mir fights UNDER 1.5
    13-2 in the UFC.
    14-3 in his whole career.
5-0 since his loss to Vera, and his new found dedication to MMA.

    Shane Carwin UNDER 1.5
    11-0 in his whole career.
    3-0 in the UFC.

Frank Mir has struggled against hard hitters, especially ones that are able to smother his BJJ with powerful ground and pound. And obviously Carwin hits like a truck and has a good wrestling base. If Mir lets Carwin's power get to him mentally, he’ll start making the same kinds of mistakes that cost him his losses in the past.

Inexperienced fighters heading into title bouts don’t have the greatest history. Carwin’s unproven submission defense will also be a huge factor.

    Take the UNDER.

    Selection 2:
Georges St. Pierre (19-2) vs. Dan Hardy (23-6)

    4.16* GSP\Hardy OVER 2.5 (-104)
    To win 4*

Georges St. Pierre fights OVER 2.5

    3-0 since regaining his title.

    Dan Hardy

    3-1 in the UFC.

GSP won't waste any time taking this fight to the ground. Dan Hardy is a tough and durable opponent with a lot of heart. He will last a few rounds until his will is completely broken and GSP finds the opening for a submission.

    Take the OVER.

    Selection 3:
Mark Bocek (8-2) vs Jim Miller (16-2)
    2.8* Bocek\Miller OVER 2.5 (+107)
    To win 3*

We have a dominate wrestler in Jim Miller against a tough BJJ guru that requires top control to execute his game. Mark Bocek's grappling should be able to nullify Miller's ground and pound.

Bocek has only been finished twice in his career, and once was to striking phenom Frankie Edgar. Jim Miller's striking is not on Edgar's level. The other loss was to Mac Danzig in more or less a grappling match that went OVER 2.5 rounds.

Jim Miller has had 6 of his fights go to decision and 3 have been in the UFC. All three for the most part are grapplers.

    Take the OVER.
