Can't believe no one made a thread for the Masters!
Anyone making bets?
The sportsbook I use has tiger -150, (Masters odds here, but those lines have been updated) and that's probably gonna be the winner, but I'm LOVING Retief Goosen +2800. He has four top-threes in his last five years at Augusta...that's good value, no?
I've been thinking about this a bit. I would take Tiger even vs. the field, obviously Paddy is going for his "Paddy Slam" but I don't think he does it here. I see Goosen with a solid top 10 effort but not winning. I'm going to have to get back to you on this one, still thinking it over. I'd say an outside sleeper is Charles Howell III and I think Ogilvy has a shot as well.Originally Posted by Josh Jones III

Goosen is worth a look at 25/1.
I know what you mean about Tiger and never getting value. It was like betting on Heath Ledger at the Oscars when he was -1500...insanity.
Ogilvy is playing well, yeah, but he doesn't have a great track record at Augusta...so we'll see...

Tiger is like UNC - if he plays good, he wins - it is in his ambit whilst the others hope he is off.
Having said that, I have had a small bet on Harrington at about 12/1 as he has shown he is in good shape following a first round 69. He is going for three majors in a row after all...
Man, I got crushed on Goosen. Who saw that coming?
I guess people only bet on golf when it's a major...no threads here since the Masters. Maybe I'll start one for the Players Championship.
