Default Where are Tiger Woods rivals?

I'm looking at the US Open leaderboard and thinking, "Where are all the great players of the Tiger Woods era people have been talking about?".

Where are Garcia, Casey, Stenson, Ogilvy, Villegas, Kim, Els, Cabrera, and Singh???? The man has an off week and has given them all a great opportunity to win a major and the only guys who can challange him are Phil, a guy from the Nationwide tour, and a bunch of journeymen. These other "greats" are nowhere to be found. Where are the Players, Palmers, Watsons, and Trevinos of today?

Sharkey, you don't really think that Palmer, Player and Trevino were there on the leaderboard every major championship that Jack had an off week do you?
Tell me you don't think that.

Here's an interesting final leaderboard
from the Nicklaus Era......the 69 US Open.

Where was Jack, where was Gary, where was Lee, where was Billy? How come Arnie couldn't catch a nobody like Orville Moody?

How about the 70 US Open?
Where was Jack? Where was Gary? Where was Arnie?

How come Lee and Billy couldn't catch an Englishman with only one major?
Who were these other journeymen?

what rivals?!! i believe that 3 majors are the most that anyone has won amongst his "rivals". i'm in the camp that feels the depth of fields are deeper in tigers era but the amoount of "great players" is less.

How about the 78 US Open?
How'd Watson, Nicklaus and Player let a journeyman with only one tour win beat them in an Open?
Where was Trevino?

What about the 76 US Open?

Where was Nicklaus, Trevino, Player, Palmer??

How'd they let a US Amateur champion with no tour wins (can you say Ricky Barnes) beat them in a US Open??

Zito, the only rival he has right now is Phil.
The rest of them have no guts.
Even a washed up player like Duval is beating them!
