Fade, it's good to see you're not trailing the Captain again today ;)
My plan is to start off fast and then bury you so I don't have to worry about you coming back....lets see how it works.

Chicago @ Boston OVER 198
It worked on Saturday with some luck, lets try it again.
1-2
Dallas +6.5
Have to jump back on the Captain's coat tails tonight!
4-0
3 game lead with 3 to go. Looks like time is running out on The Fade.
Detroit @ Cleveland Over 178
I'll ride on the Captain's Cape this time. I don't like this over quite as much as I liked the over last night in the Bulls/Celts game, but we'll see how it goes.
Ugh, looks like the end of the road for me:
Houston/Portland OVER 183.5
1-3
Not sure what dirtbag is doing in here, but whatever...
That loss serves me right for trailing the Captain. If you can't be original with your picks you should lose.
With that said, I'll make my pick before Captain does...
4-1
Denver -5.5

Hey, there's 101 tipsters out there! What pays is the correct selection, nothing else!
The only caveat I have is that the 'follower' must either be quick off the mark or take any price movement in the a**, just like in real life. This competition requires that the price indicated be strictly up-to-date and from the predicated source page so your number of wins is just the same as your pocketbook would imply - this is reality.
The player also got to pick a decent tipster and then select between his tips. A case in point - Jack had a pair of overs last night; I agreed with one of them, my opponent SteveJanus agreed with the other. The Captain went 1-1 so only one of us won - it really is about judgement in the usual way!
diondublin,
I'm really sure what you're trying to imply, but I'm just saying that sometimes I've been guilty of not really doing my own research on games (because I'm lazy) and just picking what someone else says is good. In many of those occasions, I end up losing.
I know why, it's just how it usually ends up for me. Maybe I have bad karma (right Pitter? ;) )
I'm just saying that I usually pick games alot better when I do my own research, and get a personal feel for the game than I do when I just trail someone. That's all I'm saying... if you want to perceive it differently that's fine.
