Friday Heat/Hawks

Took a rough night with both Chicago failing to cover and the 76ers just getting dominated by an energetic Howardless Magic.

Tonight, I'm taking Hawks +5. I don't see Miami blowing out Atlanta, and I see this game being really close all the way down to the end. Atlanta doesn't want to worry about a game 7 D-Wade miracle, and the Heat need to defend their home court. But 5 points is a lot to cover. Go Hawks.

I think 5 points is only justified here if you think that the Heat's 'need-to-win' is 'worth' three points or more versus the opponent.

If you do, though, then 5 points is a great number to take for the usual end-of-game-factor type reasons.

If you put a gun to my head I would give the 5 points, but in reality I will be keeping my cash in my pocket!
