Cavs -10
I know this is a huge public play, but can you blame them? The Cavs and LeBron have been dominant the entire playoffs (first team to win their first seven games in the playoffs by double digits and are 7-0 ATS). Especially with LA's loss tonight, the Cavs will show who is the the most dominant team in the league. For the record, last game was the first time in the playoffs LeBron actually needed to play considerable minutes in the fourth quarter. I expect the Hawks to come out fired up and ready to defend their pride in the first half, but the Cavs' physical superiority and LeBron superiority will be the difference in this next double-digit win for Cleveland.

Nooooooooo......don't do it!
The Cavs are not the best team in the NBA; laying 10 away from home in the playoffs is a champions-only play!
They are nowhere near as good on the road as they are at home and also they are not motivated tonight.

Sorry, they are the best team in the NBA. Only if they had made some more FTs, they would have not just given me a push.

They are actually odds-on to win the championship, but I think this is a poor bet. The Lakers are just as good for sure, I would say, and the Cavs haven't won anything yet, so they fail to achieve the 'champions' status that I would require before considering a bet at that sort of price.
Actually I think the Celtics are a long price at 22/1 to repeat, at Boylesports, so I'm going to check that out!

Having checked that out, I found 31/1 at Betfair on the Celtics, so I have had a small bet. This seems a long price indeed for the champions. I have also had a little at nearly 10/1 for the conference.
The Celtics seem under-rated to me. They have won more than three times for every defeat this season and have the requisite experience yet are implied as big dogs for each series, approximately 5/4 to beat the Magic, 7/2 to win the Eastern finals then 2/1 to win the championship series.
In particular I don't see why Boston should be odds-against (11/10, Bet365) to prevail over Orlando, if only because two of the remaining three games are scheduled at home for them, where they are something of a powerhouse (35-6)
Opinions, please, based upon the notion of whether Boston are VALUE, not simply whether they are favoured to win.
[continued in another post, to discuss value concepts]

They are the best team in the NBA except when they play the Magic. I knew as soon as the Magic beat the Celtics, we were done.
