Saturday Best Bet Discussion

Adrian got me thinking with his consensus, which I like quite a bit. I also like how we have the hockey thread going where everybody throws their hat in the ring to see if we can't come up with some winners together. Let's try the same thing in each sport. I'll post some of the games I kind of liked in here and I hope everyone else does the same. At the end of the day we'll see if we can't find a consensus best bet to play.

Obviously we are off to a late start today, but everyone knows I like:

Pitt -2 - just feel like Villanova is over-valued beating the paper tigers in Duke and UCLA. DeJuan Blair's a beast and will dominate this game from start to finish.

Let's hear if you like it or hate it.

My opinion is that Pitt/Nova could go either way. I like Pitt's personnel better and would lean toward them, but it's probably a pass for me.

The Huskies are the play for me. I think the UConn slows Missouri down and pounds them to a bloody pulp in the paint tonight.

I very much like Pitt -2 as well.

I also like the UNDER 150.5 on the Missouri/UConn game. I think UConn learns a lesson from the Memphis PaperTigers and decides that running with Mizzou is not in their best interest. Calhoun will turn this into a grindfest and not allow his players to get into the frenetic pace that MU wants to play.

I think that Pitt (-2) is the bet as well. They should physically dominate - possibly a factor typically undervalued in college hoops - and I think Villanova will fold.

It's a ratings cinch as well. Pittsburgh are better class.
