Our basic rules are very simple: Be respectful of others, use common sense, and don't spam. Forum administrators reserve the right to edit, delete, censor, or move any thread, or ban any user at our discretion. Basically, don't give us a reason to ban you, and you won't get banned. The rules below should give you an idea of what might result in a ban from the forum. As a general rule, if you are considering not posting something because it contains questionable content, don't post it! If you have any questions, please contact one of the administrators.

Posting Rules

Advertising/Spam: We do NOT allow any type of advertisements, promotions, or solicitations. This includes posting an email address, URL's, or site promotions. We do allow members to post links that are helpful to our members, as long as they do not refer to a site that is in direct competition with BetFirms. Forum admins determine what is allowed and what is not. Admin decisions/actions in regards to advertising or posting inappropriate links are final.

Low Content Posts: Please do not make multiple posts containing little or no content (i.e., "first post," "hello, I'm new here," etc.). As a general rule, write as if you were speaking in real life to another human being, not just shouting out a random announcement.

Worthless Posts: Please do not register gimmick accounts and make posts as a gimmick, as they are not funny. Please do not make a post asking members to vote for you on some website, give you referrals for free iPods or any other semi-spam things. These will be treated as spam posts and will be removed.

Stay On Target: Try to use the appropriate thread tag for your post. This helps people find your thread and makes the forums more user friendly.

Contained Conflict: Arguments and criticism are alright, in fact they are part of what can make the forum fun, however, do not cross the line from an intelligent argument into simply bashing someone for personal reasons.

Respect the Admins: The administrators are here to keep the forums clean, sane, and fun. If they ask you to do something, please do it. Please do not harass or intentionally annoy the admins or insult them. If you do not like the admins, feel free to not post here.

Harrassment: If somebody is harassing you on the forums, please discuss it with them over PM or email before contacting the admin about it. Criticism and banter do not constitute harassment. Please do not post others' personal information (phone number, addresses, emails, etc.). Try to stay out of other peoples' personal lives as well. Keep in mind there's a major distinction between the Internet and real life.

Hate Speech: Offensive terms such as "faggot" or "nigger" may or may not be bannable based on context of the sentence. If they were meant as humor with absolutely no offensive slurs meant, the user may not be banned or probated. This rule is completely, 100% subjective and is based on the admin reading the post at the time. Use at your own peril.

Please do not try to cleverly circumvent some rule listed here. These rules are general guidelines and are very flexible.
