The Seminoles and the Yellow Jackets will do battle in Tallahassee on Saturday. Florida State comes in 2-3 on the season and Georgia Tech at 4-1. The rumors surrounding the future of Bobby Bowden are swirling around the campus at Florida State and no one knows exactly how this Seminole team is going to respond. Georgia Tech and its head coach, Paul Johnson, are fully expecting to see the Florida State team that wiped the field with BYU and not the team that has lost 3 of its 5 games. This game will be an interesting battle between two ACC schools that appear, at least for the time being, to be going in different directions. There isn’t a single team in the country that is tougher to figure out than Florida State. The Seminoles crushed BYU in Utah, but lost to South Florida and Boston College. The offense has been good, most of the time. The defense has plenty of talent, but has been ripped apart on numerous occasions this season. If Florida State is able to strike first and get a decent lead the Yellow Jackets will have a tough time, but if the Jackets get the option game rolling then Bowden and the Seminoles could be disappointed once again.
