Getting Casino Comps

One of the easiest ways to get comped at the casino is to ask. Sometimes getting casino comps is as easy as seeing the pit boss walk over to your table, he’ll introduce himself and then ask if there is anything the players need. This is a great time to ask for something.
Any time a pit boss or casino hosts puts that offer out on the table, they aren’t trying to be overly friendly but they think that your level of action warrants some kind of perk. Your cash play deserves a comp and if they are asking, then you need to start taking advantage.
So let’s assume someone on the casino’s payroll comes up and asks you if you need anything. From this day on make sure that you say, “as a matter of fact, there is.” Then ask something like “what are your chances of comping me a dinner?” You have to be somewhat forceful and initiate the request since most floor personal have comping authority, but the customer normally has to initiate the request. Frequently you can’t get a free room for the night or go on a spending spree, but a free pass through the buffet or to a show is perfectly acceptable. If they hesitate at your request then a standard comeback of “maybe I should take my action next door,” works wonders.
Remember to take advantage when you can because if your bankroll or bet size takes a dip, then the offers coming your way will fall by the way side as well.
