Handicapper Application
Written by Jack Jones
Do You Have What It Takes to Be A Handicapper?
We are frequently emailed by handicappers who want to be listed with the top professionals at BetFirms.com. If you are interested in applying for one of the open spots on our roster, here are a few questions we will need answers to (please send to your answers to admin@betfirms.com):
1. Have your sports handicapping picks been documented and monitored somewhere before?
We only take on sports handicappers that have proven to provide clients with a consistent winning percentage over the course of several seasons. We need to see third party documentation, whether it’s your track record in a forum, or at a respected handicapping monitor.
Handicapping for your friends, who will swear you hit 90% in the NFL last season, won’t earn you a spot in our lineup. Showing us a generic site, which may or may not have clients isn’t going to work either.
If you have never been monitored and are still interested, motivated, and determined, you can contact us to find out how we can monitor your plays for a significant period of time to see if you are going to be eligible to sell on our site.
2. Do you have samples of the analysis you provide with your picks?
We are only interested in professional handicappers, and professionals provide analysis with their work. The customer needs to know why you selected the team you did so they can feel confident in your choice. They need to know that you are working hard and deserve to be paid for your selections. If you are serious about winning there really is no excuse for not posting a play with a detailed writeup.
3. Do you have samples of promos used to sell your picks?
If you have only sold time-based subscriptions in the past then you might not have worked with packages and promos. Our site works with time-based subscriptions, but we also use packages and package promos to sell individual games. You need to show us that you know how to market yourself and the quality picks that you provide.
4. Are you a person or are you a service?
We want people with real names. An example of a service that would be rejected: Super Cash Lock Masters INC. An example of a handicapper that would be approved: Jack Jones. We don’t want service names, if you want to hide behind a title, we just aren’t interested.
5. Do you sell your picks anywhere else?
We need a list of the sites that you currently use to sell your sports picks. We will look at the prices of your subscriptions and packages, along with the format you use to sell when making a determination. There are a few disreputable sites out there that we do not want to be associated with in any way, shape, or form, and if you are on those sites then you would be ineligible to post on our site.
If you do not currently sell your picks anywhere else, and are able to prove to us you know what you are doing by allowing us to monitor you for a period of time prior to being brought on board, then we can help quality handicappers get their sites off the ground. We also redesign sites in order to help established handicappers look more professional to their visitors.

Got something to say?

I am currently a professional handicapper for my personal investment portfolio, however I am looking to develop and build a sports handicapping enterprise.
I am writing to you specifically, because of the success you have had in both business as well as your ROI for your clients, and because of your web presence.
My investment strategies include: thoroughly reading tip sheets (such as but not limited to: The Goldsheets, The Foxsheets, etc), analyzing market shifts with software (such as but not limited to: Sports Insights, etc.), researching trends and situations with software (such as but not limited to: Winpicks, Sportrends, etc.), utilizing sportsbook software used to create lines for divided action (such as but not limited to: Odds Wizard, etc.), and by watching and knowing teams.
Will you provide advice and recommendations on how to both a)become a professional handicapper with an established business and website such as yours, and b)how to break into this business as a professional handicapper?
Thanks for your time as well as your help!!!!

I am already with sportcapping.com and vegastopdogs.com I would be honored to be apart of Betfirm.
First of all I love sports. Gambling is a passion of mine, I will stay up Sunday night just to see the lines for the upcoming week. I have talent I know how the public overbets. Where there is value on the board I will find it. I can preach to you forever, you might think I’m all bullshit. You have my email just have me give you games. Let me prove to you how good I am. What do you have to lose.
Hello Betfirms,
I am a young guy from Denmark who have earned money betting on soccer through years. I am used to writing writeups and such, but I have decided to take it to the next level and make money on my picks. I think there is a market for releasing soccer picks.
Since new year I started documenting my picks to prove that I can make money. I am up almost 10 units in January and have only been solid. When the soccer season in Europe is really on, I can do better. I can send you the documentation if you like.
Looking forward to here from you.
