Handicapping Challenge: Jack v. Trev

I know that many of you have been visiting the site or getting the free pick newsletter for weeks or months now and many of you can remember the sick run we were on just a few weeks ago when I hit like 11 straight free picks for you and 15 out of 16 with my BEST BETS. Hopefully you all profited a little from my tips, and I tried to do all that I could to help as many of you as possible from giving out freebies if you comment on my post or if you signed up for one of my sportsbook sponsors. However, handicapper Trev Rogers and I have been going back and forth about how I got “lucky” with my streak. Now, I’m not going to say luck isn’t involved, but when you hit around 60% over your career with top plays a streak like that isn’t exactly out of the ordinary. I know I’ve hit a little cold streak over the last week, but I’ve preached that sports betting is a marathon long enough to know one bad week shouldn’t break any of my clients bankrolls, but Trev felt the need to harass me about it.
THE CHALLENGE
While I can take the heat, and actually love it when people tear apart my games so I can feel confident I covered every angle, Trev is a guy who needs to be put in his place with a little challenge. So, I offered we each put up $5,000 in a winner take all play of the day competition through the month of March. Much to my surprise, he’s decided to take me up on the offer, and the guys at Sports Capping are going to be holding the money for me, or I guess I should say, the winner.
RULES
Each day, starting on Sunday, March 1st, and running until Tuesday, March 31st, Jack Jones and Trev Rogers will each submit one play, and one play only, each day to see who can accumulate the most wins. The play must be in either the NBA or College Basketball and will be graded against the spread or total. Plays must be locked into our premium play or free play system so that all lines will come from a legitimate source, and both players have access to the same sportsbooks to choose from. Plays will be posted in both my sports betting forum and his site at BetVega each day for you to follow. The player who ends the month with the most victories wins $5,000.
ADDED INCENTIVE
So how are you going to benefit from this? First off, you are going to get the BEST BET on the board from two of the top handicappers in the business each day through the month of March and all you have to do is visit the forum. Second, I thought I’d add a little something for all of my forum posters as well. Each morning I’ll create a thread titled “Play of the Day Contest” in the college basketball forum. There you will have the opportunity to pick one game against the spread, using my odds feed on the site. Post your number of wins each day along with your selection and if you can beat me AND the rest of your peers to end up as the WINNER of the contest you will get the rest of my NBA season on the house (April, May, June). Additional rules will be posted in the forum and moderators Steve Janus and theFade will have the final say on all rulings.
