Illinois Michigan Football Betting Odds

Look for Illinois to bounce back this weekend against Michigan. Illinois has faced a tough opening schedule. They played two top ten teams in Missouri and Penn State, away from home. The Illini played well in both of these games, so look for that to carry over into their match up with Michigan. The Wolverines are coming off a big win against Wisconsin, but don’t get too high on them just yet. Wisconsin pretty much handed them the game in the second half. The college football odds show that Michigan is listed at -2.5 over Illinois.
Illinois’ high powered offense is lead by quarterback Juice Williams. Juice has the ability to beat teams will his arm and his legs, and that shows in the stat book. He has nearly 1200 total yards and 11 total touchdowns. Seven of Juice’s 11 touchdowns have come against solid defenses in Missouri and Penn State. So don’t look for Michigan to be able to stop him either. The Wolverines will get a high dosage of Juice Williams all day long.
Despite knocking off Wisconsin this past weekend, Michigan’s offense is still anything but improved. Michigan has failed to throw for over 200 yards in three of their four games, and they didn’t even crack the century mark against Wisconsin. Look for Illinois to score a lot of early touchdowns, putting a tone of pressure on the Wolverine passing attack.
Do not be shocked to see a high scoring game in the Big House on Saturday. However, that is just another reason to play Illinois in this one. A shootout will benefit the Illini big time, and look for Ron Zook to play an up tempo game against this Michigan State. Take the points and Illinois over Michigan in the Big House.
