The Hawkeyes were a little disappointing last week against another in-state rival, UNI, so it was a surprise that they opened at -6 when the college football odds went out. Iowa should dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the football and I look for the Hawks to play as hard the entire game as they did on the final two plays last week when they blocked back-to-back field goal attempts. The Road team is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings and it is also worth noting that the Hawkeyes are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games, 20-6 ATS in their last 26 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game, and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0. Lay the points.
