We ended a great run on 20* plays last night as Syracuse only showed up for the second half, but by then it was too late. Tonight I’ll take a small step back with my top play of the day a 15* Double-Digit Dandy in college basketball betting. This is a play where the line should have been set for 10+ points, but it hasn’t! Also in tonight’s hardwood action: my best bet of the day in the NBA plus a 10* selection going in the college ranks. Washington State -6 over Oregon State at BetUS
The Washington State Cougars have been a goldmine on the road as of late, earning a 7-1 record against the spread in their last 8 games as the visitor. That spells trouble for a struggling Oregon State squad that is just 2-10 against the spread in their last 12 games as a home underdog. The Cougars have been inconsistent this season, but they will have the better players on the court Thursday night. They’ll need to improve on hitting shots from the floor, something Oregon State has done well this season, but the Washington State defense should equalize the game for the Cougars. Washington State also has a significant edge in both free throw shooting and rebounding, and that should give them enough of a boost to pick up a road win in Pac-10 play tonight.
USC PK over Arizona State at Bookmaker
The Arizona Sun Devils have the better overall record and a higher national ranking than the USC Trojans, but give the edge to USC tonight at home. The Trojans are 8-1 on their home court this season and Arizona State is just 1-5 against the spread in games following an ATS win. The Trojans play defense extremely well at home (59.8 ppg allowed) and they out-rebound opponents 39-31, where the Sun Devils sit at just 32-28. USC has played a slightly tough schedule here and they should be motivated to pick up another win in the conference. Arizona State is just 4-3 against the spread in their 8 road games this season, look for the Trojans to win this one in the paint, where they are a much stronger team than the Devils.
