It was only a loss by a few baskets, but it felt like a blowout last night on my 20* NBA play on the Nets, who missed the cover by three buckets. Overall, it was a rough night on Wednesday. While I’m certainly disappointed in last night’s results, I’m still confident in my ability to pick winners. I’m not the kind of guy that falls of a horse once and gives up, I’m going to keep grinding it out every day and finding the best value that I can on the board. Tonight I have 4 plays on the premium side. My biggest play of the night comes in college basketball with a 20* Revenge Game of Month! We’ve got a team that’s been embarrassed by a conference-rival the last two times they’ve met, and tonight is their night for revenge! I’ve also isolated a pair of 15* winners, one going on red-hot NBA total angle and the other a side in mid-major college basketball action. To round out the premium side I also have a 10* play going on the college hardwood. Remember that these are the weakest plays I’ve picked out, and will not be playing them personally. The best bets on the board will always be available only to premium subscribers. Georgetown -5 over West Virginia at BetUS

In this big-time Big East match up I’ll take the Georgetown Hoyas over the West Virginia Mountaineers. Georgetown has been one of the toughest teams in the country at home, earning a 9-1 record there, including a 4-2 mark against the spread. Three of West Virginia’s four losses on the year have come on the road, and while they are 6-3 straight up on the season as the visitor, they are just 3-6 against the spread. The Mountaineers are also on a 4-game ATS losing streak and have covered in just 1 of their last 5 Big East Conference games. The last two times these schools met up at Georgetown, the Hoyas walked away with double-digit victories. They should win by that much again tonight.

Lakers/Wizards Total OVER 208.5 at Bookmaker

With Washington’s poor defensive play and the Laker’s tremendous ability to score, this is an easy play on the Over tonight. Scoring 107.6 points per game (109.0 ppg at home) the Lakers have one of the best scoring offenses in the NBA. They’ll match up against a Washington Wizards defense that gives up over 100 points per game, mostly against worse offenses than the Lakers. What makes this game a play though is the fact that L.A. hasn’t been all that great on defense this year. They give up about 99 points per game, which has led to a lot of high-scoring affairs. In the last 2 meetings between these squad they combined for 246 points and 210 points. Tonight’s game should land somewhere between those numbers, but I expect that it will be closer to the 246, as that was the total score the last time these two met in L.A.

Free Pick Records:

CBB: 17-17
NBA: 5-9
NHL: 1-0
CFB: 3-1
