Take Notre Dame -3 over Marquette at BetUS
Take Notre Dame tonight at home to revenge the 2 losses that Marquette handed the Irish last season. The teams met 3 times, with Notre Dame’s one victory coming on their home court over the Golden Eagles. This is a much improved Notre Dame team that has just one loss on their home court this season. The Fighting Irish are 5-2 against the spread in their last 7 games at home against a team with a winning record, while Marquette has won just 4 of their last 14 games against the spread as an underdog. The Irish are winning their home games by an average margin of 19.8 points per game, and while it would be a stretch to think they can beat a very good Marquette team by that margin, I still think they pick up this win in South Bend.
Take Portland Trail Blazers -10 over L.A. Clippers at Bookmaker
I’ll give the ten points and take the Blazers over the Clippers tonight in L.A. The Clippers basically have no home court advantage, their 5-18 record at home is the worst mark in the NBA. The Clippers have lost 15 of their last 17 overall and are 16-30 against Portland since 1996. The Clips lose by an average of 8 points per game at home, and I think that the combination of Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, and LaMarcus Aldridge will be more than enough for the Blazers to dominate in this game.
