Take Texas PK over Baylor at BetUS
Baylor is certainly a good basketball program and they are off to an impressive 15-4 start, but this series belongs to the Longhorns no matter where the game is played. Going back to 1997 Texas is 22-2 against the Bears, including a 10-1 record at Baylor. The Longhorns have won 10 in a row in the series and have managed to cover the spread in 7 of the last 9 meetings in Baylor. Some streaks are made to come to an end, but not this one. Texas won by 5 at Baylor last season, and with 4 starters back for both teams this year, I’m expecting very similar results.
Take Cleveland Cavs -13.5 over Sacramento Kings at Bookmaker
The Cavs try to extend their home winning record to 21-0 tonight as they host the struggling Sacremento Kings. The Kings are a complete mess this season. They are just 3-20 on the road this year and have just 10 wins overall. Their average game is 9 point loss and they’ve lost 5 straight overall. Meanwhile, the Cavs have been one of the best teams in the NBA, not only record-wise, but against the spread. They are 21-5 against the spread in their last 26 home games and 37-15 ATS overall, going back to last season. As a double-digit favorite at home, the Cavs have covered in 8 of their last 9 and they’ve covered the spread in 12 of their last 15 games against teams from the Western Conference. Cleveland cruises to 21-0 at home tonight.
