Jack’s Free Sports Picks: 2/20

Sorry I was a little late with these today, but was talking to Trev Rogers about a possible promotion that we could have coming up for all of your guys to benefit from. He’s a solid handicapper who just joined us and thinks he might be up for a challenge against me, what would you guys think of that?
That was a little more like it last night as Cal dominates to give us another BEST BET win. I was a little disappointed in our other premium pick though as Troy didn’t get the job down against Florida International, but hope those of you that chose to trust me on ice with the freebie on Chicago liked that little winner as well.
No college action tonight, but I do like three plays in the NBA, starting with our 20* BEST BET. I think I’ve picked out a pretty easy winner here that was close to becoming a 25* and that’s why I’ve dubbed it a “No-Brainer.” Also two totals, one on the Kings/Grizzlies and the other going late on the Hornets/Lakers. Both of the totals are rated 15*. Remember we are 17-3 with our last 20 basketball BEST BETS and 17-7 on our last 24 in the NBA. Grab my package now at the Jack Jones home page or take a look at some of the NCAA basketball picks & NBA picks being released by our other top handicappers.

Charlotte Bobcats +3 over Orlando Magic at Sports Interaction
Charlotte has already lost twice to the Magic this season, so I think these guys are going to come out with a little extra motivation for this one, especially after their overtime loss in Orlando on Tuesday. While the Magic are still dealing with the loss of Jameer Nelson, the Bobcats recently got back Gerald Wallce, who went out last game and put up 25 points and 10 boards. I’ll take the points here with the home team.

Jack you must be feeling good with all these free picks today. I love the Bobcats in this game. The last time out they took the Magic to overtime and lost by I think 5 in Orlando. I believe the Majic had Nelson during that game. Wallace is a force and the Cats play better with him, also it appears that the public are all over the Magic which is a green light to take the Cats in my opinion.

Jack Im on the fence with this one. I really like the magic to bounce back tonight against the bobcats. I know they got slapped in the face the other day. Dwight Howard is a freak and I think he will be the difference in this game. I guess I talked myself into going against Jack. Probably not the smartest!

Love the Bobcats as well. When Wallace is in the game the team plays at its best. Also Magic will be getting used to a new pointguard tonight with Alston. Like the pick, keep the winners coming.

I’m a little leery on this pick, but the Magic have been struggling as of late, and Charlotte hasn’t really been playing all that bad. Jack’s the expert so I’m going to do what he takes.

Nice pick with the Bobcats. the magic have been playing terrible basketball and Charlotte is finally completely healthy. I’ll take the points on this one

I like the bobcats to win. Orlando got crushed by the hornets the other day and they have not been playing their best ball.

I like the bobcats. They are a young team and playing good. Orlando is hurting without a true point guard and struggeled when Howard didn’t have a great game the other night. I think the bobcats will take a page out of New Orleans book and beat up on the magic.

Totally agree with this, as I’m already on it myself. I’m targeting this pick along with a couple others tonight as it displays some great reverse line movement. 72% of the public is on Orlando, and still the line has moved from 2.5 points to 2 many places. Also, like you said, the loss of Nelson and addition of Wallace in this game should be the difference between this game and their previous meetings, plus taking home dogs is never a bad idea.

I agree that Charlotte will be motivated after the recent OT loss to Orlando, but Orlando might be even more motivated after getting taken to the woodshed against the Hornets the other night. I think it’ll be a close game, but I like Orlando in this one.
