St. Louis +165 over Columbus at Sports Interaction

This is kind of a big underdog play we are taking tonight, but I think it shows some value.  Columbus is coming off a terrible loss on Saturday to the Dallas Stars, in which their rookie goalie gave up three goals in just eight shots.  Now that the 20-year-old is battling mononucleosis it will be intersting to see how the Blue Jacket defense reacts.  Chris Mason on the other hand is riding high here recently, having not allowed a goal in his last 95 minutes.  With all that going for us I think it’s worth a shot to take the heavy underdog tonight!

Florida -7.5 over South Carolina at Sports Interaction

This might seem like a lot of points to be laying with the Gators tonight, but I think they will win in blowout fashion.  The Gators lost to the Gamecocks back on January 21st even though they shot 54% from the floor and held the Gamecocks to 39% shooting.  I feel like Florida would take those numbers every time out, but on their home floor they aren’t going to lose the turnover battle so drastically.  This game is sandwhiched in between the trip to Tennessee the Gators lost badley, and a trip to Kentucky in one week, but I doubt they will be looking ahead with that last loss to SC in their recent memory.  South Carolina is not to be underestimated with their 16-4 record, but at 3-3 on the road I think they get beat up pretty badly by a Gator team that is 13-0 at home and winning by more than 18 points per game in Gainesville.

Free Pick Records:

CBB: 26-20
NBA: 10-14 (Portland’s 38 in the 4th cost us the UNDER by 3, ugh)
NHL: 1-0
CFB: 3-1
NFL: 4-1

    Florida, bad choice.
Florida has has hard time covering at home and SC is good on the road covering. And lets face it this team is not the Fla of the last 3 years. I’ll take the lumber..

I feel like the Gators have been underestimated this year, but good luck to you on your pick tonight and thanks for the comment.

I’m not a big hockey guy but I know my stuff and St. Louis seems like a great play, especially for the value, they just came off a shootout loss to the defending champions in detroit and have shown some fight the last couple games, mason is on a tear and I love the pick for the value.

The college ball pick I absolutely love, florida can drain the 3 and score at will and I think they tear it open tonight, especially looking for revenge from that 1 point loss to the gamecocks earlier this season. I saw that pick early in the day and you just solidified it for me.

Hope all is well and I can get your premium picks for the night.
    Great luck buddy,
    Thanks

Do have to disagree with both picks here,Sorry.

Columbus is tuff to beat at home in the first place, but St Louis coming off a shoot-out lose to Det.,which is not a bad lose, but now to come back the next day to play another hard game, missing Paul Kariya this year isnt helping them either. As a value bet is the only reason to play it,but its a value lost imo,GL to those that play it,O and 3 games ago this Columbus team beat Det.3-2 at home.

Now Florida giving 8 as the line as went up makes me like S.Car even more,as they have only lost by this amount twice this year,at LSU and at home to Clemson. For a quick reason just look at Flor.last game at Tenn.,a big blow out and a game that I lost on a second half bet with them down big, only needed them to win the second half -2,but they missed a lay-up at end of game to win the second half 41-40,which was a lost and a push on the total.

Now this same Tenn.team against S.Car had a fight on their hands to pull out a 3 point win,and Flor.ACC team that they had to play when S.Car is playing Clemson, they are playing N.C. St,which they were probally lucky to pull out the 2 point win.I didnt check the SOS #s,but at a quick look,S.Car.looks to have played the harder teams with Flor.playing quite a few cupcakes.

I wont play Columbus unless I think they can win by 2,which I might, but will play the points with S.Car.for sure and even though Flor.has the revenge angle losing on the last shot of the game at S.Car.,Im looking for the same result here with the winner making the last shot.

Also the over might be a play unless its way high.

Thanks for the opp.to cap my first 2 games of the day,lol GL tonight Jim

I guess the St. Louis game all depends on how you think they will react to losing that shootout. I think they’ll be motivated.

As for the Florida game, you make some good points. I do like the revenge angle, however, and I’ve found that comparing similar opponents (Tennessee) is only useful to a point. Anyway, I appreciate your comments and your insight. Good luck tonight!

I Like your Florida- for obvious reasons… but I have no opinion on the pucks.

My large play will be UNLV with a dash of Cavs thrown in for seasoning

In my ‘one tease a night’ dept. I am on KState+FL+BYU although KTY beckons to be placed in there somewhere…

Not bad calls on UNLV and Cleveland. I’m not big on teasers in basketball, but I do wish you the best of luck!

    Thanks!
