Back on track yesterday with the easy 20* win on Oklahoma City plus 15* NBA winners on the Sixers and Cavs to go along with our 15* CBB winner on Kansas. Pitt ended as a push for us and probably were luck to get it, while our long shot underdog on Colorado in the NHL didn’t pan out.
Let’s keep the profits piling up on Monday as we stick to the NBA. 20* goes on the Magic/Knicks with a PAIR of 15* plays going on the pro hardwood as well. I’m passing on CBB action tonight as nothing really stuck out at me. Grab my package now at the Jack Jones home page or take a look at some of the NCAA basketball picks & NBA picks being released by our other top handicappers.

Free Picks for Monday
So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer. Where do I find these lines? Boston Celtics -15 over LA Clippers at BetUS
It’s tough to lay this many points in the NBA no matter who is playing, which is why I’m playing it as a free pick instead of a stronger premium. The Clippers are just 7-27 this year on the road while Boston is 28-6, but the key to this team has been the return of Kevin Garnett to the lineup. I know he’s only been playing about a quarter and a half the last two games, but just his presence on the floor has motivated the other Celtics to get after it. Having him back tonight will help Boston slow down Zach Randolph, who to his credit has been playing well for the Clippers. LA though hasn’t won on the road since February 7th and that is playing some bad teams like the 24 point loss at Toronto, by 18 at Detroit, by 12 at the Kings, by 40 at the Suns, 29 in Portland, etc. LA has gone 0-6 ATS their last six road games as a double digit underdog while Boston is 8-2 ATS coming off a double digit win.

I agree with this one. The celtics should play really well especially since garnett isback. Clippers are also terrible.

I agree with you in the fact that they are the worst road team in the nba. I think this wone should cover by 20 points.

Well Jack congratulations on yesterday. As for today’s free pick I am going to have to pass. Sure Boston can beat them by 16 and giving any NBA team 15 points should be as sure a thing as you can find. I just don’t trust either side to come through I will hope that Boston covers so your free pick cashes but I personally am going to pass.

Thanks for the congratulations. I like the Celtics but I agree with you that no NBA team should get beat by 15 or more. However the Clips are THAT bad in my opinion.

Clippers at this point have given up this season, they have no chance. Not sure if I will be playing this or not, but I definitely think Boston has a good shot to beat ths clips by 16.

The only bet I’d consider here would be the total (200.5). Celtics usually are a great first half team, getting way ahead in the the first half and coast in the second half. Boston returns home after a road trip but may be a little sluggish. Doubtful they practiced yesterday for today’s game either, so my hunch is this game goes over the total. Even the Clippers will muster up some energy tonight and I won’t be surprised if they give Boston a run for their money. Given the lack of respect Boston has for the Clippers they’ll trade baskets with them for the first half and wait till the fourth quarter to pressure the lowly Clippers. Too late for a comfortable under. Boston 113-97.

I lean towards the Celtics in this one, but I just can’t lay that many points. The Celtics are back from a road trip and although they may have some revenge motivation, I just can’t see them getting up for this game on a Monday against the lowly Clippers. I will stay away from this one, but I would consider taking the over as some others have mentioned above.
