Steve Merril is currently doing extremely well in the MLB and has dominated all sports through the years. Rocky does a great job at all sports, but he dominated the NHL this year and with the playoffs having started, he’s the guy I’d choose to follow if you are intersted in hockey. Then there is Jimmy Boyd who has done a great job in all sports since the beginning of the year, just like he has in years past. Free Picks for Sunday

So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer.

Texas Rangers -120 over Kansas City Royals at 5 Dimes

I think you have to go with Texas here when you can get them at this kind of price. The Royals have been a pretty lucky team so far this year in scoring 54 runs over their past six games while hitting only .238. This team is 5-0 against right-handers this year, but batting only .219. Texas on the other hand is 4-4 at home, but has hit .333 in their home park and put up 8.1 runs per game. You have to think the numbers will start translating into the appropriate number of wins and losses. Looking at the records alone would have you staying away from Texas, but getting deeper into the numbers has me seeing value on the Rangers today.

I’m afraid your off a little on this one jack. Look at the pitching match up and the clear advantage goes to kc. And to be able to get them on a +line I’ll take the Royals today.

Jack, Texas is going to have to bust loose on KC, no better time than today. KC has beaten Texas twice and Texas won’t get swept by them!!! Too many hitters on this Texas club

I’m sorry, but when I see the word ‘Padilla’ the other “FADE” flashes before me. However, when I see the word “Davies”, my finger gets locked on the trigger. This game is a coin flip and my hunch is that KC is on a winning streak that continues after today.

I actually like the Royals better. They have been winning more and Texas may score more runs but they give up more too. Plus Padilla is awful.

I agree that the Royals have been winning without hitting very well, but with that kind of pitching staff It doesnt surprise me. The Rangers are due though. They have dropped the last 4 of 5 at home, and usually Texas is good at home. I like the pick Jack.
