Jack’s Free Sports Picks: 5/15

Written May 15, 2009 by Jack Jones

nationals-phillies

A dominating 6-1 night last night as we hit our 20* BEST BET on the Cubs run line.  We are now 8-2 on our last 10 with BEST BETS and we are looking for a big night against here tonight with a 7-for-1 MLB card, including our 20* BEST BET.  Cash in big to start the weekend. Grab my package now at the Jack Jones home page or take a look at some of the baseball picks & NBA picks being released by our other top handicappers.

Free Premium Picks: I’m going to take a little break from the comment for a free pick offer. Instead I’m going to release one of my premium picks as the free pick over the next couple of days. The comment offer will be back shortly! You are still more than welcome to comment on today’s pick, I appreciate the feedback.

Free Pick for Friday

So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer.

You can find more great winners every day by visiting our sports betting forum. Handicapper Steve Janus won the college football title here at the site, and he’s giving away all of his baseball plays for FREE in the forum.

Washington Nationals -103 over Philadelphia Phillies at Sportsbook.com

John Lannan has just been too good this year, especially at home to pass up the Nationals at this price tonight.  He is 2-3 on the year, but has a 3.89 ERA and in his three home starts he’s given up just four ER and one home run in 19.3 innings, good for a 1.86 ERA and 1.14 WHIP.  Joe Blanton has struggled this year, giving up 26 runs, 45 hits, and eight home runs in 34.3 innings.  Last time out against Atlanta he was knocked around for six runs while taking the loss.  The Phillies have lost four of their last five and six of their last eight while scoring 4.1 runs per game over the past week.  The Nationals have scored 6.6 runs per game in the last seven so I’ll take the hot offensive team with the better pitcher on the mound.

Free Pick Records:

CBB: 51-36
NBA: 26-37
NHL: 4-0 (+665)
CFB: 3-1
NFL: 4-1
MLB: 17-15 (+25)

I also post my free picks on Twitter so if you follow me there it may be easier to get the picks if you are away from your computer and stop by every day for more free baseball picks from top handicappers.
