Jack’s Free Sports Picks: 5/19

Written May 19, 2009 by Jack Jones

Brewers Astros BaseballNothing on the card yesterday that I felt was worth a play so I took a pass, but what a run we have been on here lately in baseball and I have no plans on letting up any time soon. Now 17-4 on my last 21 in MLB action for +1,389 units, 7-1 on my last 8, and 4-1 on my last 5 with 20* BEST BETS!  Cash in today with a 3-for-1 package of winners that includes a 20* No Brainer going on the Indians/Royals.  Additional MLB and NBA plays will be posted this afternoon.  Grab my package now at the Jack Jones home page or take a look at some of the baseball picks & NBA picks being released by our other top handicappers.

Free Premium Picks: I’m going to take a little break from the comment for a free pick offer. Instead I’m going to release one of my premium picks as the free pick over the next couple of days. The comment offer will be back shortly! You are still more than welcome to comment on today’s pick, I appreciate the feedback.

Free Pick for Tuesday

So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer.

You can find more great winners every day by visiting our sports betting forum. Handicapper Steve Janus won the college football title here at the site, and he’s giving away all of his baseball plays for FREE in the forum.

15* on Milwaukee Brewers -122 over Houston Astros at Sportsbook.com

You have to like the Brewers tonight in Houston against Mike Hampton.  Hampton has given up 16 runs in his last 15.7 innings of work and has given up 23 hits and 8 walks in 17.7 innings at home.  Dave Bush has done a great job starting this year and has given up just 7 ER on 15 hits and a single walk in his last 21 innings.  The Brewers have also won six in a row and eight of their last nine.  Houston has scored only 4.1 runs per game against right-handed starters this year, and that won’t be enough to stop Milwaukee with the way Hampton is throwing.

Free Pick Records:

CBB: 51-36
NBA: 26-37
NHL: 4-0 (+665)
CFB: 3-1
NFL: 4-1
MLB: 18-16 (+22)

I also post my free picks on Twitter so if you follow me there it may be easier to get the picks if you are away from your computer and stop by every day for more free baseball picks from top handicappers.
