phillies-mets A solid 3-1 night on Friday, including our 20* BEST BET winner on the Toronto run line. We also cashed with the Cards/Nationals UNDER and the Mariners winning in comeback fashion.

For Saturday we have FOUR plays going on the premium side, including our 20* MLB No-Brainer going in late baseball action. We have one early game on the Mets/Phillies, then another late 15* MLB winner. In the NBA I feel pretty good about the Bulls/Celtics side as well. So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer.

It seems like there is something wrong with Oliver Perez who has given up 20 runs in 19.3 innings this year, mainly because he’s issued 15 free passes. Jamie Moyer hasn’t been great, but is coming off a six innings, one run performance in Florida. the Phillies have torn apart left-handed pitching this year, hitting .317 and scoring 8 runs in the five games. The Mets are struggling and with Perez on the mound this is a good spot to take the defending champs at a cheap price.
