pirates-astros-529I didn’t really see anything I liked on yesterday’s card so I pass, but am coming out with a vengeance on Friday as I have FIVE plays going in MLB action, plus the side of the Lakers/Nuggets Game 6 matchup.  We are on a pretty great run right now with a 45-23 (66%) run on our last 68 games overall, including 36-18 (+1968) in MLB and 63-43 (59%) in the NBA.  Grab my package now at the Jack Jones home page or take a look at some of the baseball picks & NBA picks being released by our other top handicappers.

So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer.

Houston has lost seven straight games so laying this small number at home doesn’t look like a problem to me.  Brian Moehler has made three starts on the road this year and has given up 10 runs in 12.3 innings.  Ross Ohlendorf has given up just 8 runs on 18 hits in 24 innings at home this year, good for a 3.00 ERA and 0.92 WHIP.  Houston’s offense is horrible with only 3 runs per game over the last seven and 3.9 runs per game against right-handers.  Lay the small number here.
